This trade in guitar is a MIJ Strat with an I serial number that dates it to 1989-1990.
Exhaustive research availed no info about any Strat with the kahler trem so I can only guess it is modified. It doesn't seem to be routed for the trem bridge although the pick guard seems to be cut.
My tech took it apart (pictured) to show the inside for the guitar. We also could not find nut locks that would fit into the Kahler locking nut from that era. The guitar is sold as described.
